These Terms & Conditions explain how bookings, airport pickups, waiting time, payments, cancellations, luggage, passenger conduct, and private chauffeur services are handled by GVA Airport Transfer.
1. Company Information
GVA Airport Transfer provides private chauffeur and airport transfer services from Geneva Airport and other locations in Switzerland and nearby France.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made through our website, phone, WhatsApp, Viber, email, or any other direct communication channel.

2. Our Services
GVA Airport Transfer provides private door-to-door transport services for individuals, families, business travelers, ski travelers, and groups.
- Geneva Airport arrivals and departures
- Hotel, residence, and private address pickups
- Ski resort transfers
- Business chauffeur services
- Long-distance private transfers
- Cross-border transfers between Switzerland and France
- Private transfers to selected destinations in the Alps and surrounding regions
All transfers are private unless we clearly state otherwise in writing. You do not share the vehicle with passengers outside your booking.
3. Booking Requests
You can request a booking through our website, WhatsApp, Viber, phone, or email.
When making a booking, you must provide accurate travel details, including:
- Pickup location
- Drop-off location
- Travel date
- Pickup time
- Number of passengers
- Amount of luggage
- Vehicle preference, if applicable
- Flight number, for airport pickups
- Full name
- Phone number or WhatsApp number
A booking is confirmed only after we accept it and send you confirmation by email, WhatsApp, Viber, SMS, or another written message.
Submitting a form or sending a message does not automatically confirm a booking.
4. Prices and Payments
Our transfer prices are fixed once confirmed, unless your booking details change.
The quoted price is based on the information you provide at the time of booking. This may include:
- Pickup and drop-off points
- Travel date and time
- Vehicle type
- Number of passengers
- Luggage amount
- Waiting time needs
- Route distance
- Seasonal demand
- Special requests
The confirmed price includes the private vehicle and chauffeur service for the agreed route.
Extra charges may apply if the pickup location, drop-off location, passenger count, luggage amount, route, stops, waiting time, or vehicle requirements change after confirmation.
Payment terms are confirmed during the booking process. Depending on the booking type, payment may be required in advance, at pickup, or after completion if agreed in writing.
5. Airport Pickups and Flight Tracking
For airport pickups, you must provide your correct flight number.
We monitor flight arrival times when a valid flight number is provided. If your flight is delayed, we adjust the pickup time based on the updated arrival time when possible.
Your chauffeur will meet you at the agreed meeting point, usually inside the arrivals area, unless another location is confirmed.
If you do not provide a flight number, we cannot track your arrival. In that case, waiting time starts from the confirmed pickup time.
6. Waiting Time
We include reasonable waiting time for airport pickups, hotel pickups, and private address pickups.
Extra waiting time may be charged when:
- The passenger is delayed after the included waiting period
- The passenger cannot be reached
- The passenger is still collecting luggage after the included waiting period
- Passport control, customs, or baggage delays extend the pickup time
- The pickup location is changed at the last minute
- The chauffeur must wait because the passenger is not ready
If you expect a delay, contact us as soon as possible by phone, WhatsApp, or Viber.
7. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must be ready at the confirmed pickup time and location.
You are responsible for providing complete and correct booking details. GVA Airport Transfer is not responsible for delays, missed flights, missed trains, missed appointments, or extra costs caused by incorrect information provided by the passenger.
Passengers must:
- Respect the chauffeur and vehicle
- Wear seat belts where required
- Use child seats where required by law
- Avoid smoking or vaping inside the vehicle
- Avoid damaging the vehicle
- Avoid carrying illegal or dangerous items
- Follow safety instructions from the chauffeur
We may refuse transport if a passenger behaves aggressively, appears unsafe to transport, causes damage, or breaks the law.
8. Luggage
You must tell us the number and size of your bags when booking.
The selected vehicle must have enough space for all passengers and luggage. If your luggage exceeds the declared amount, we may need to provide a larger vehicle or a second vehicle, subject to availability and extra cost.
GVA Airport Transfer is not responsible for delays or service issues caused by undeclared oversized luggage, ski equipment, sports equipment, or extra bags.
Passengers are responsible for their own personal belongings. Please check the vehicle before leaving.
9. Child Seats
Child seats may be available on request.
You must request child seats before the transfer date and provide the child’s age, height, and weight where needed.
Availability must be confirmed in writing. If you bring your own child seat, you are responsible for checking that it is suitable and properly fitted.
10. Vehicle Selection
We offer private transfer vehicles based on passenger count, luggage, route, and availability.
A specific vehicle model may be requested, but vehicle assignment depends on availability at the time of service.
We may provide a vehicle of similar or higher category if the requested vehicle is unavailable. This does not reduce the agreed transfer price.
11. Route and Travel Time
Estimated travel times are provided for planning only.
Actual travel time may vary because of traffic, weather, snow, ice, border controls, road closures, accidents, police checks, mountain road conditions, public events, or airport congestion.
GVA Airport Transfer is not responsible for delays caused by road, weather, border, airport, or traffic conditions outside our control.
Passengers should allow enough time for airport departures, train departures, business meetings, and other scheduled commitments.
12. Cross-Border Transfers
Some routes may cross the Swiss-French border or other borders.
Passengers are responsible for carrying valid travel documents, including passports, visas, permits, or other required documents.
GVA Airport Transfer is not responsible if a passenger is refused entry, delayed at a border, or cannot continue the journey because of missing or invalid documents.
Any extra waiting time or route change caused by border issues may result in additional charges.
13. Changes to a Booking
You may request changes to your booking by contacting us as soon as possible.
Changes may include pickup time, pickup location, drop-off location, passenger count, luggage amount, vehicle type, flight number, or extra stops.
Changes are subject to availability and may affect the price.
A booking change is confirmed only when we accept it in writing.
14. Cancellations
You may cancel your booking by contacting us through the same channel used for booking, or by phone, WhatsApp, Viber, or email.
Cancellation terms depend on the route, vehicle type, season, and booking details.
For standard transfers, we aim to offer flexible cancellation where possible. For long-distance transfers, ski resort transfers, peak-season bookings, special vehicles, or group transfers, different cancellation terms may apply.
The cancellation policy that applies to your booking will be confirmed during the booking process.
If you cancel very close to the pickup time, or after the chauffeur has already started the journey to the pickup location, cancellation charges may apply.
15. No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when:
- The passenger does not arrive at the pickup location
- The passenger cannot be contacted
- The passenger leaves without informing us
- The passenger provides incorrect pickup details and cannot be located
- The passenger misses the pickup without cancellation
In a no-show case, the full transfer price may be charged.
For airport pickups, we use flight tracking when a valid flight number is provided, but the passenger must still contact us if there are baggage, customs, phone, or meeting point issues.
16. Safety and Vehicle Rules
For safety and comfort, the following are not allowed inside our vehicles:
- Smoking or vaping
- Illegal substances
- Aggressive behavior
- Damage to seats, doors, carpets, or vehicle equipment
- Unsafe handling of luggage or ski equipment
- Transport of dangerous or prohibited items
Cleaning or repair charges may apply if a passenger causes damage, spills, stains, strong odors, or unusual cleaning needs.
The chauffeur may refuse unsafe requests, illegal stops, overloaded luggage, or route changes that could create safety or legal problems.
17. Service Limitations
GVA Airport Transfer works to provide reliable transfers, but some situations are outside our control.
We are not responsible for service delay, interruption, or failure caused by severe weather, heavy traffic, road accidents, road closures, mechanical issues, border controls, police activity, airport disruptions, flight cancellations, strikes, public events, natural events, government restrictions, passenger error, or late arrival.
When possible, we will try to offer a practical solution, such as adjusted pickup timing, route changes, or another vehicle.
18. Lost Property
If you leave an item in the vehicle, contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost property. Return delivery, courier, or extra chauffeur time may be charged.
GVA Airport Transfer is not responsible for loss of cash, jewelry, documents, electronics, luggage, or personal items left in the vehicle.
19. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact us as soon as possible.
Complaints should include the booking name, travel date, pickup and drop-off locations, description of the issue, and photos or supporting details if relevant.
We will review the matter and respond as soon as possible.
20. Website Information
We try to keep our website accurate and updated. However, prices, vehicle availability, travel times, routes, photos, service descriptions, and destination information may change.
Website content is provided for general information and does not create a confirmed booking unless we confirm your transfer in writing.
21. Privacy and Personal Data
We collect booking details needed to arrange and provide your transfer service.
This may include your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off details, flight number, passenger count, luggage details, and messages sent to us.
We use this information to confirm your booking, provide the transfer, contact you about your journey, track flights for airport pickups, handle payments, provide support, and keep service records.
We do not sell your personal data.

22. Liability
GVA Airport Transfer provides private transfer services with reasonable care and professional standards.
Our liability is limited to direct losses caused by our proven fault, up to the value of the affected transfer, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We are not responsible for indirect losses such as missed flights, missed trains, missed events, lost business, hotel costs, replacement transport, or other additional expenses caused by delays outside our control.
23. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Switzerland, unless another mandatory law applies to a specific service or passenger location.
Any dispute should first be addressed directly with GVA Airport Transfer so we can try to resolve the matter fairly.
